I teach a free-hand embroidery workshop suitable for complete beginners and those with experience with an emphasis on letting intuition guide the practice. My belief is that embroidery making is a form of energy work. I start with a presentation of my on-going research into contemporary and historical embroidery as both a fibre art and social history. I then demonstrate stitch techniques and then present a task which links to my interest in psychic drawing. Then we work together as a group with assistance.

I have taught this in gallery spaces, deli's and dedicated workshop spaces.
